My name is Sam Wilder and this is my Wilder Life. After graduating from the University of San Francisco where I studied Urban Agriculture and Media Studies. I left for a 5 month trip to travel the world and become a WWOOFer. I worked on farms in Spain, Portugal, and England, in exchange for food and a bed. Near the end of the trip I met up with my partner to travel through South East Asia, because why not?! I originally I created this blog to share my experiences as a traveler. You can read about my adventures here!
Sadly, the trip ended and I’ve been back home for a while. Finally, the time came to resurrect Wilder Life. So what has been keeping me busy this last year? Well, somehow I found my dream job and I’m proud to say that today I’m the Program Coordinator in the Garden at AT&T Park. The Garden is a one-of-a-kind dining experience for SF Giants fans, and an outdoor classroom for kids to learn garden-to-table food philosophies. This blog is dedicated to sharing my experiences at work, future travels, and wherever this Wilder Life takes me next!
